RECIPIES FROM THE TRAINER


SAMPLE RECIPES FOUND IN THE BSI ATHLETE'S E-COOKBOOK 'FROM THE TRAINER'S TABLE'

​Chocolate Coffee
(Less Mass Gain)
INGREDIENTS:
  • 6 oz water
  • 4 ice cubes
  • 2 tbsp coconut milk
  • 6 oz coffee*
  • 2 scoops chocolate powder
* You may use 12 oz. coffee and no water for an extra pre-workout or morning kick!
​INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix in a blender on medium for 1 minute. Pour into a tall glass and enjoy!
50/50 Chili
INGREDIENTS:
  • A pound each of grass fed ground beef and bison.
  • 1 Full glass container of Pomi strained or chopped tomatoes (or about 25 ounces of tomato sauce/diced tomatoes).
  • 2 Sweet peppers, any colour, diced.
  • (Optional) 3 large jalapenos, seeded, diced.
  • A tablespoon each of cumin, fresh ground Redmond Real salt, paprika, and garlic powder.
  • A teaspoon each of chili powder, cinnamon and crushed red pepper (mix all spices in a small bowl).

​INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Heat a large, greased pan to medium, browning the meat and seasoning lightly with salt and pepper, adding peppers and jalapenos.
  2. Transfer the meat mixture to the crock-pot, topping with tomatoes and stirring in the seasoning mix.
  3. Turn the crock-pot on low for 8 hours.
  4. Serve with sliced avocado.​
